  1. I love historical stories, and this book was on my "next to buy & read" list, so to have the opportunity to be given a copy by Annie would be wonderful - and if it were to be autographed as well, that would be the icing on the cake!

  3. This sounds like such an intriguing era, a time in history I know little about.
After reading the synopsis of the book I can't think of a more perfect way of learning more about this time.

  5. Very rarely I come across an author who brings out the lesser-known but important characters in history. Looks like I've just found another! Set in my favourite era and a woman who sounds intriguing to say the least. Would love a copy :-)

  22. I love Historical Fiction, imparticularly during the times of the early Saxons, Celts, Druids and of course the Vikings. Such a mysterious and fascinating time period. What is fantastic about HF writers is that they are able to transport the reader back through time and make the reader experience what it was possibly like to live during these times. A good HF author is able to blend fiction with fact and make it plausible to the reader that this is how it was. Reading is Magiic.. the writer is the Magician!
