  5. Hi Barbara,
I am thoroughly enjoying "the King's Daughter". Adventure, history, romance, all told with a realistic feel. I could believe these stories actually happened. Looking forward to learning the ending and hoping for the best for my favourite characters. I am "83% read"--love KOBO readers. It would be great to have an actual book though, and a signed one at that! Fingers crossed.

  23. I found you, Barbara, through your online series for authors and moved on to two of your workshops, as well as a conference workshop. All have been a great help to me with my own historical fiction and I look forward to reading more of your excellent work. I do love reading the genre, especially books associated with English kings and queens. As you know, I have written about you, Barbara, at least twice on my writing blog at elainecougler.wordpress.com. All the best, and thank you for sending me this link today. I am thrilled to find this website!

  32. Hi Everyone and Barbara...

While I am awaiting "Rival Queens", I am also waiting for the Thornleigh series to become TV movies or films. I'd like to see Hugh Laurie and Bonham Carter as never before. I see them in my mind's eye everytime I email Barbara about the series. Anyone out there have any suggestions for Isabel and Carlos? Who would you cast for the Chris Grenville creature? The Embroiderer

    1. Ah, what a delight that would be to cast Honor & Richard, Isabel & Carlos, etc. for a film or a TV mini-series. Maybe one day!

  39. Webster's dictionary defines metamorphosis as a "striking alteration in appearance or a new beginning." I guess I experienced a metamorphosis when I started reading my first Barbara Kyle novel, "The Queen's Lady," because I experienced a new beginning in literary enjoyment. I've read all of your books several times and eagerly look forward to the next one.
