    I have always been fascinated with people being friends who have lots of obstacles to that friendship. Sounds like a good book.

    I am very interested in the historical accounts of the trafficking of humans. I lived in Niger, West Africa for three years, and stories of people from the African continent interest me personally. I loved my time in Niger, despite the difficulties physically and of the heart.

    I would love to read this novel.
