I love reading stories that take place before, during and after The Great War. "Lies Told in Silence" sounds like a wonderful story, and I look forward to reading it. Thank you for this chance. Merry reading and writing. Merry Christmas ~ may your days be merry and bright.
This is the year for WWI reading! I've read at least seven novels and just finished rereading Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks for my book club! Good luck Donna.
I have been really enjoying WWI stuff lately. The toll on people at so many levels was incredible. This looks like a great read!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you like the sound of it, Amanda. Good luck!

ReplyDeleteThe 100th anniversary of the start of this terrible war is a good time to read and learn. I'd love to read Lies Told in Silence.
ReplyDeleteSo pleased to hear that, Karen. And yes, it was a terrible war where unimaginable things occurred.
DeleteI still can't get enough of books about WWI, even in this centennial year. :)
