  1. I love historical fictions. this blog is just perfect for my literary preferences. :) ever since i moved to england i have tried as much as possible to travel around and visit all those great and magnificent places i have read and studied about. it is an extraordinary feeling to visit a cathedral that you have only seen in pictures, and you have only read in books, it feels like pieces fall into place, like the puzzle is finally finished.

  49. As the holder of a degree in history, what can I say? I breezed through college to a summa cum laude finish on the strength of all the very fine and accurate historical fiction I had read that grounded me so well that the actual coursework seemed like filler in the cracks of my overall knowledge. Even though I now write fantasy and alternate history, a lot of my stuff is grounded in straight history. So... long may this site and all historical fiction writers rule! Nice job on the site, and best of luck with it and all your books.
