Yes, I was amazed when I first came across the book about Elizabeth's missing jewels. How desperately busy and stressed her ladies must have been, trying to keep track of every pearl on her hem. And the children! Yes, they wore miniature versions of adult clothing, as most people know, but I'm not sure if their dressing and undressing would have taken quite so long.
